LOFT items can be returned via mail or in-person at a LOFT store. LOFT stores require items purchased to be returned to the store. LOFT outlet stores are the only locations where items purchased must be returned. Online items should be returned at a LOFT store, not at a LOFT outlet store.

LOFT Online Returns

You have two options for returning LOFT items by mail: use the prepaid shipping label or mail it yourself. The USPS is the only method for shipping items with a prepaid label, and items for exchange cannot be mailed. The instructions for each option are provided in the article.

Mail with Return Label

  • To obtain a prepaid label, visit the LOFT website’s Customer Service page and click on the return policy section. A link will be provided to initiate the return process.

LOFT Refund Policy

LOFT typically refunds to the original payment method, but it may take some time for the company to process your return. Banks typically take longer to process and post transactions, resulting in credit not appearing until the next billing cycle for your credit card. 

LOFT will refund the original payment made with a credit card, but shipping and handling costs are not refundable for purchases made using a credit card. The refund will be made in cash or check, and the gift will be a store credit.

LOFT Exchange Policy

LOFT offers a Quick Exchange Policy, which is ideal for customers who require a different size or color. To contact the company, dial 1-888-LOFT-444. Gift Cards can be purchased at various Ann Taylor, LOFT, Factory, or Outlet stores, and come in various denominations such as $25, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200, $250, $500, and $1000. E-Gift Cards are purchased securely through their partner vendor, CashStar, and can be completed by clicking on the provided link. 

LOFT Gift Cards and E-Gift Cards are available for free shipping and can be redeemed both online and in-store. If you  make a return that you purchased using a LOFT gift card then your refund will be issued in the form of the merchandise credit. If you have lost the gift card then LOFT is not responsible to redeem your cash or card.

LOFT offers a short cancellation window for orders submitted via chat, text, or phone. The company’s business processes aim to save time by processing orders quickly. If you choose In Store or Curbside Pick Up, you cannot cancel your order. However, if you choose not to pick up your order, it will be cancelled after the pick up date.

Price adjustments are not applicable on special promotions like %’s off and $’s off. One price adjustment for full-price merchandise marked down for the first time can be made within 7 days of purchase. Stores cannot process price adjustments for online orders.
