Pottery Barn provides a flexible return policy for its customers. You have 30 days from the purchase date to return the items, and for Quick Ship upholstery items, you have 7 days to make the return to get a full refund. Methods to Return at Pottery Barn

Pottery Barn provides two methods for its customers to return their items.

Mail

To return your items by mail, you need to follow the given guidelines:

  • Head to the Pottery Barn website.
  • You need to provide information for your return.
  • You will be sent a UPS return shipping label.
  • Pack your items in the original carton and use enough packing to secure the items.
  • Affix the return shipping label on the package.
  • The return shipping cost depends on your reason for return.
  • Drop off your items at the nearest USP location.

In-stores

You can use Find A Store on the Pottery Barn webpage to look for the nearest store to you. You have 30 days to return the items at the Pottery Barn store. You need to bring the original sales receipt with you along with your return items.

The Pottery Barn team will provide you with the mailing label and the information for return shipping. After the item is received at the Pottery Barn distribution center, you will receive your refund. If you return your gift, the refund will be given in the merchandise credit. The return exceptions are mentioned above. You are not eligible for price adjustments for prior purchases.

International Return Policy

International orders must first obtain a return authorization from Pottery Barn’s customer service and cannot be returned to retail stores. All approved returns will be processed by Borderfree and refunded in the original purchase currency. Customers should contact Pottery Barn immediately if they wish to initiate a return. Please note, gift cards, monogrammed or personalized items, special orders, final-sale products, and items damaged from normal wear and tear are not eligible for return.

Certain products such as oversized items, hazardous materials, food, aerosols, and licensed merchandise may also be excluded from international shipping and returns. Pottery Barn Delivery and Shipping Policy

The following are the shipping and delivery methods provided by Pottery Barn:

  • Standard Shipping or Front Door shipping usually arrives within 4-5 business days.
  • The Next Day Shipping costs $26.00 and may arrive the next day, depending on your time of order.
  • White Glove Delivery arrives when all items of your order are available.
  • Doorstep Delivery is available for a few items.

Pottery Barn Return Conditions 

The following are the return conditions at Pottery Barn:

  • The items should be in their original packaging.
  • You cannot return or exchange your items without an original sales receipt.
  • Final sales items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Pottery Barn Refund Policy

You can receive your refunds from Pottery Barn within 30 days. If you bring your receipt, the return will be issued in the original form of payment. If you return your gift with a gift receipt, the refund will be issued in the merchandise credit for the value mentioned on the gift receipt.

You will receive a company check for cash or check refunds above $100. The cash check will be mailed to you, and you will receive it in 14 business days. If the value of your returned item is more than $10,000 for a merchandise credit card, then you will receive a merchandise card with $10,000 of the amount, and the rest of the amount will be mailed to you. Shipping and delivery charges are not refundable. 

Pottery Barn Exchange Policy

You have 30 days to exchange your merchandise and 7 days to return the Quick Ship upholstery items. You must bring an original sales receipt or gift receipt with you. You can exchange your items at any Pottery Barn store or online.

Exceptions of Pottery Barn Return Policy

The following is the return exceptions at Pottery Barn:

  • Items without proof of purchase
  • Gift cards
  • Monogrammed items
  • Mattresses
  • Made-to-Order Items such as furniture, custom rugs, faucets, and shower sets
  • Final sale items (with prices ending in $.X7 or $.X9)
  • Items damaged by normal wear and tear

Pottery Barn Registry Return Policy 

According to the Pottery Barn Registry return policy, you have 90 days to return your items purchased from the registry or 90 days of your event. Pottery Barn will gladly provide you with a return or exchange for it.

Pottery Barn Warranty Claim Policy

As per Pottery Barn Return Policy, Pottery Barn does not provide any warranties for its furniture.

Pottery Barn Gift Card Policy

Pottery Barn provides eGift cards and physical gift cards as well. You can purchase the eGift card online. Pottery Barn Gift Cards cannot be returned, and they cannot be canceled. If you want to cancel your eGift card, you have to contact CashStar customer support before the delivery of the eGift card.

If you purchase an item using the eGift Card, the refund will be issued as a merchandise credit. You can use that merchandise credit at any Pottery Barn store, online, or by phone. You should treat and protect your Gift cards and eGift cards as cash. In case of lost or stolen, you can contact CashStar Customer Support.

Pottery Barn Return Policy without Receipt

Unfortunately, Pottery Barn does not allow returns without proof of purchase. You must bring the original sales receipt if you are returning your item. You must have a gift receipt along with the gifts you want to return.

Pottery Barn Holiday Return Policy

According to the Pottery Barn Holiday Return Policy, you can return purchased items between October 15 and December 26, and January 31.
