Talbots Retail stores and their Distribution Center only accept returns for merchandise purchased from retail stores, online, or phone orders. Talbots Outlet stores are exclusively able to process returns on merchandise purchased from these stores.

Talbots Return Policy In Store:

You can use the Store Locator given to find the Talbots store near you. You can bring your items in-store within 60 days from its purchase date to return. Securely pack your items and bring them to the store. Make sure to bring an item with order confirmation email, order card, or gift receipt to the store. Talk to a store employee about your return items. 

Talbots Return Policy Online :

To return an item via mail, you need the return documentation either in the original package or with your receipt at the retail store. To ensure the return of the product via mail, follow these steps:

  • Go and visit Talbot’s Official website.
  • Locate the return section.
  • Complete the return form.

  • The return reason should be specified by providing the specific code as outlined in the Return Form.

Gift cards have no expiry date, non-returnable, and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or check, except as required by law, or used as a credit for a Talbots Credit Card. You will be offered store credit for the gift card orders return.
